Donate to the Fund

Affordable Air Experts has been part of the Greer community since 2017. The support of our customers and neighbors has played an important role in the success of our small business, and giving back is one way we can say thank you.

Over the years, we’ve supported local families, veterans, law enforcement and nonprofit organizations through donated HVAC equipment, services and other assistance.

Giving Back to the Local Community

As a locally owned and operated family business, we believe being part of the community also means helping where we can.

  • Supporting Pendleton Place

Pendleton Place is a local nonprofit that supports vulnerable youth and young adults, including those facing homelessness. Affordable Air Experts donated a new heating and cooling system to help improve the comfort of the people the organization serves.

  • Supporting Local Law Enforcement

As a way of showing appreciation for their service to our community, Affordable Air Experts has provided complimentary HVAC services to qualifying local law enforcement officers. Our goal is simple: to help the people who spend their time helping and protecting others in our community.

  • Helping a First-Time Homeowner

Affordable Air Experts also donated a new air conditioning system to a first-time homeowner in our community. Providing a reliable system helped give that homeowner one less major expense to worry about and a more comfortable home during the summer months.

  • Helping a Local Navy Veteran and His Family

During our second year of giving back, we were able to help a local disabled Navy veteran who was raising three children on a limited income. We provided HVAC assistance to help make the family’s home more comfortable and reduce one of the financial burdens they were facing.

  • Our First Community HVAC Giveaway

Our first major community giveaway was a new 16-SEER Rheem gas package unit for a local family in need. That experience helped shape our approach to community giving. Heating and air conditioning problems can be difficult for any homeowner, but for families already dealing with financial or personal hardship, a major HVAC failure can make things even harder.

Donate to the Affordable Air Experts Community Fund

In addition to the donations and services provided directly by Affordable Air Experts, we also offer customers and members of the community an opportunity to contribute to our Community Fund. The purpose of the fund is to help support local individuals, families and organizations facing difficult circumstances. You can support the fund with a donation below.

Contributions to the Community Fund are not tax-deductible. Funds are distributed by the end of each calendar year to a local individual or family selected by Affordable Air Experts, or to Pendleton Place if no recipient is selected that year.

Why We Do It

“We’ve built a business on providing physical comfort,” says James Weeks, owner of Affordable Air Experts. “It’s gratifying to be able to provide some financial comfort for people in our community who work hard to make lives better or who have fallen on difficult times.”

We’re grateful for the trust our customers have placed in Affordable Air Experts since 2017, and we’re equally grateful for the opportunities we’ve had to give something back.
